  1. Ownership of Content

All content contained within nursebite courses, programs, lessons, scripts, workbooks, downloadable materials, video recordings, audio recordings, knowledge checks, prompts, graphics, brand assets, and any associated digital or printed materials (collectively, the "Content") is the original intellectual property of nursebite and its founder. This Content is protected under the United States Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq.) and applicable international copyright treaties.

Copyright protection attaches automatically to all original works of authorship fixed in any tangible medium. No registration is required for copyright to exist; however, nursebite reserves the right to formally register all Content with the U.S. Copyright Office to strengthen legal protections and to enable statutory damages in the event of infringement.

  1. Permitted and Prohibited Uses

What you MAY do:

  • Access, view, and use course materials for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes as an enrolled student.
  • Take personal notes and download any materials expressly made available for download within the course platform.
  • Share your personal learnings and experiences from the course, provided you do not reproduce or distribute the original Content.

What you MAY NOT do without prior written permission:

  • Reproduce, copy, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any Content in any form or by any means.
  • Sell, license, sublicense, rent, or otherwise commercially exploit any portion of the Content.
  • Modify, create derivative works from, or reverse-engineer any Content.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary rights notices appearing in or on the Content.
  • Share login credentials, course access links, or downloaded materials with individuals who have not purchased the course.
  • Record, screen-capture, or re-upload course videos to any platform, including but not limited to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or any other social media or file-sharing platform.

nursebite actively monitors for unauthorized reproduction and distribution of its Content. Infringement will be addressed through Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notices, legal action, and all other remedies available under applicable law. If you believe Content has been used without authorization, or if you wish to report an infringement, please contact: [email protected].

  1. Permission Requests

To request permission to reproduce, quote, or otherwise use nursebite Content beyond the personal use permitted above, please submit a written request to [email protected]. Permission requests must include: (a) your name and contact information; (b) a description of the specific Content you wish to use; (c) the purpose and context of the intended use; and (d) the platform or medium where the Content will appear. nursebite reserves the right to grant or deny permission at its sole discretion.

  1. Fair Use Notice

nursebite acknowledges that certain limited uses of copyrighted material may qualify as "fair use" under 17 U.S.C. § 107. However, the fact that a use may qualify as fair use does not eliminate the need to evaluate each use individually. Students and users are responsible for their own fair use determinations and bear sole responsibility for any legal consequences arising from uses beyond the scope of personal enrollment.
